Hello anyone reading this. I have a problem. I don't know how to transfer my art skills into tablet drawing skills! I don't want to sound cocky: but I think I can draw well off the tablet but when I try to draw on the tablet it just isn't the same: which I can understand. But I keep trying and trying to get better but I don't see any improvements to my tablet drawing skills. Also no one in my life is very artistic; and if they are even slightly (I don't have many artsy friends) they don't even know what tablet art is. So I'm willing to take advice from anyone on anything, and almost any art style really. I like manga stuff, but I also do more

Yeah. Good and bad day. It was good due to finding out some things that happened in the day but also really sad. A good friend of mine is moving back to his old home (a different country!) and I'll miss him a lot. He wanted me to kiss him but I didn't and now I really think I should have.... Now that he's gone I think I discovered that I really did like him. UGH. I'M FEELING TERRIBLY CLICHE!

I finally got a tablet! I have Corel Painter Essentials 4 and Photoshop Elements to work with but I'm not sure if they're the right ones to be using. Most of the tablet artists on here seem to use CS3 or CS4 or Paint Tool SAI. Im kinda lost. I guess I'll just have to figure it out. And soon because I have a project due soon that requires me making some top notch work with the tablet.... ugh. It feels like I'm starting art all over again. On the bright side of my life ice hockey is going well. Field hockey not so much. Im having some trouble attaining some of the goalie equipment I need. Oh well. It should all work out in the end. Anyway.
